Taleen, the 16 year old Pop/R&B singing phenomenon from the Washington, DC area, will perform a one hour show at Club Deep, 16 W 22nd St bet. 5th and 6th in New York City, July 23, 2004 where she will showcase songs from her upcoming album. Club Deep is one of New York City’s premier nightclubs. With the idea of creating a nightclub with the feel of an oversized art deco lounge, renowned architect Lionel Ohayon of ICrave Design made the spacious two-floor venue a playground for the crowd befitting the best of the best

Working with producers in Los Angeles, New York City, Toronto and Washington, DC over the last six months, Taleen was intimately involved with every aspect of the production of her first album and is credited with writing and co-writing as well. Entertainment writer and lawyer, Jonathan Pardo, wrote in a recent review, “From the first note of the first track, she’s got you. She has the voice and the range but more importantly, unlike many of today’s divas in training, she sings what is necessary for the melody and the song. It is the rare artist who can genre hop and turn it into an exercise in creating something that is more then just a sum of the parts.”

Performing professionally since the age of nine, and writing music since she was 13, Taleen’s resume includes performances at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts with the Washington Opera, solo performances for Pope John Paul II and the White House, two performances for the USO, and most recently, an extremely successful concert and single release overseas.

Taleen has started production on her first music video and will be taping an appearance for the hit ABC television series “Switched”. With her passionate delivery, soulful lyrics and five octave range, Taleen has caught the eye of several major record label executives in New York. This amazing young talent is poised for stardom.
